Glitterskull Promotions are back fresh from the our very first 'Goth Is What You Make It' event and this time we are collaborating with  Follow Your Hertz to bring you a goth inspired Halloween showcase called 'Halloween Is What You Make It' with bands and alternative drag performances  from the residents of Nottingham's queer alternative DirtyFilthySexy plus music until 2am.

ATTRITION
ATTRITION are pioneers in a darker electronica. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, influenced by a mix of punk ideology and experimental art aesthetics, they emerged as part of the early '80's UK Industrial scene alongside contemporaries Coil, Test Department, Legendary Pink Dots, In The Nursery, Portion Control et al.
Founder Martin Bowes has steered the band through a 43 year career, fuelled by a succession of critically acclaimed albums...selling over 100,000 to date.

The band has regularly toured Europe, North America and South America, Russia and Asia, appeared at major festivals and had their music included on a number of TV and film soundtracks....

Through their career Attrition have worked with musicians as diverse as psychedelic veterans The Legendary Pink Dot’s to punk legend TV Smith to Franck Dematteis of the Paris Opera.

ST LUCIFER
Manchester (UK) based St Lucifer are 40% trans, 40% non-binary, 20% Post Human and 100% Queer. An expansive sound best described as a “heady cocktail of Alt/Pop/Electro/Punk/Noise”, from the breakout self-titled 2016 LP through to the incoming 4th album Disgraceland – a 40-minute odyssey of thrilling noise that is already delighting live audiences.

Having defined their sound as 'blackmetalgaydisco' (a semi tongue-in-cheek shorthand for their unique blend of electro-punk/anti-pop – aided and abetted by forays into dreampop, post-rock, drone metal and, on occasion, outright noise) and over the years their sound has very much been a combination of evolution and revolution.
