Build, Clay & Play: Afternoon Session

We're building our first permanent community garden (temporarily called the #TriangleSite) in Kings Cross and we want you to get involved! With all our garden projects, like the Paper Garden most recently, we always involve the community in the build and this site will be no different. Join us for a day at the Story Garden making elements of our new buildings!

What to expect:

• Green woodworking: Learn to make chestnut shakes (wooden tiles)
• Working with clay: Learn to make ceramic tiles
• Building with cob and wood: Learn to build with natural materials
  

Details:
This is an afternoon session running from 2:00 - 4 p.m. We will provide all the PPE you’ll need as well as tea and light refreshments.

• Please wear clothes and shoes appropriate for the weather and that you don’t mind getting dirty! 
• Bring a water bottle and/or travel mug with you, if you have one.
  

Activities are also suitable for children over the age of 4 as long as accompanied by an adult. Please book the correct number of tickets for both adults and children. There are limited places available, if you can no longer make it, please let the team know and we can open up your place to our waitlist. 

Accessibility
There are pathways throughout the garden that allow access, but as a working garden there are uneven surfaces throughout. We do have one accessible toilet facility on site. Please speak to the team if you have specific access needs.
