Global Generation 20 Year Fundraiser

Drink, eat and be merry for a good cause - celebrate 20 years of Global Generation at Rotunda Bar & Restaurant

Please join us for an amazing evening Tuesday November 12, 2024, 6 p.m. at The Rotunda Bar & Restaurant  in support of Global Generation. The charity turns 20 this year and will be hosting an end of year celebration and fundraiser at a venue located a stone's throw from the very first Skip Garden and not too far from our upcoming site!  Come enjoy an evening of drinks, food, music, an exclusive raffle, live auction and more, all while supporting the charity. 

For twenty years Global Generation has been changing the local landscape by working with young people, local residents, developers and businesses to create new temporary green spaces for all to enjoy. From the rooftop and school gardens to the plants in skips, your donations enable thousands of people each year to access and connect with nature in the heart of the city. We support young people to see how they can change their local area and the planet as a whole and truly make a difference. This event is a key fundraiser for the charity and the creation of our new permanent educational garden in Kings Cross, located on the Triangle Site off York Way. Unable to make it? We still welcome your support through our donation page and by sharing this event with your friends and family.

Each year we reach 5000 young people through our programmes and another 5000 benefit from accessing our events and spaces.

Tickets

•  £125 gets you an individual ticket, drinks throughout the evening, food and music and the chance to participate in our on-the-night raffle and auction.
• Considering bringing some friends or colleagues? Get a ticket bundle! 5 for £500 or 10 for £1000 
• Raffle tickets can also be bought in advance, 1 for £20 and 2 for £30. Winners will be contacted after the event if they are unable to attend.

Raffle & Auction Prizes
On the evening we will host a live auction and raffle - the full list of prizes will be announced on the evening but for a sneak peek see below!

Auction prizes include a set of family tickets to a Saracens FC home game, a bespoke supper club with a private chef for 8 on our Floating Garden, the explore Dartmoor package with a beaver safari, tour of Moor Barton Wilding, meal at Rafiki's and overnight accommodation in Southcombe Barn.

Raffle prizes include vouchers & hampers from businesses like Fortnum & Mason, Lina Stores, signed copies of cookbooks from Meera Sodha and books from Thomas Heatherwick, a bespoke facial from Blomma Beauty, woodworking, beekeeping and metalworking workshops and tickets to attractions and events like London Zoo or SoFar Sounds concerts!

The Space
Rotunda is a hidden gem, a stone’s throw from Kings Cross Station with spectacular views of Regents Canal. Long time collaborators with the charity our young people have participated in work experience programmes and our garden team have helped maintain their outdoor planters for years. We will be located in their main bar area for a cocktail party reception, with food, wine and beer served throughout and birthday cake to cap off the evening.
