June Community Build Day

Sat 20 Jun 2026 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Triangle Site, N1 0AZ

We're building our first permanent community garden (temporarily called the #TriangleSite) in Kings Cross and we want you to get involved! With all our garden projects, like the Paper Garden most recently, we always involve the community in the build and this site will be no different. Join us for a Community Build day at the Triangle Site  focused on actually building elements of our new site.

Our buildings may now be near completion, but there is still lots to do and learn. Much of the building work is complete but we are still green woodworking, willow weaving and getting into the hard landscaping and planting of the garden. Let's make this garden green together!

What to expect:

Details:
This is an all day session running from 11 - 3 p.m. with a break for lunch. We will provide all the PPE you’ll need as well as tea and light refreshments. We will prepare a vegetarian lunch which is PWYC, but you are welcome to bring your own. We have suggested a donation when you book your ticket to contribute to the cost of lunch, but we don't want this to be a barrier to attending, please opt out if you need.

  • Please wear clothes and shoes appropriate for the weather and that you don’t mind getting dirty! All people on site must wear closed toe shoes and we will have work boots on site so please wear socks. If you have your own site boots and preferred PPE, please bring them.
  • Bring a water bottle and/or travel mug with you, if you have one.

Activities are suitable for children over the age of 4 as long as accompanied by an adult. Please book the correct number of tickets for both adults and children. These are very popular and often there are limited places available, if you can no longer make it, please let the team know and we can open up your place to our waitlist.

Accessibility
There are pathways throughout the site that allow access, and a ramp from the entrance to the work area but this is an active construction site so there are uneven surfaces throughout. We have a toilet facility on site but it is not accessible, we can organise entry to an accessible toilet with advance notice, just email the team when you book your place. Please speak to the team if you have any other specific access needs.
