ISDS Days of Action: London rally

People around the world are coming together for three Global Days of Action to demand an end to ISDS, the secretive corporate courts that allow multinationals to sue governments.
In the UK, we've already won the fight against the Energy Charter Treaty. Now, with the UK now facing three different ISDS cases, we have a new opportunity to turn up the pressure and get the UK out of corporate courts for good. We need to make sure politicians are aware of these cases, and the threats posed by the system as a whole. That means showing up in our numbers and making some noise!
In London, Global Justice Now, Friends of the Earth, War on Want and Trade Justice Movement are teaming up for a giant banner drop and rally outside Parliament. We’ll be joined by speakers from across the coalition, bringing different perspectives on what’s at stake – from climate action and public ownership to health, workers’ rights and democratic decision-making.
We’ll need plenty of hands to make the banner drop happen, so please join us if you can! Then join the rally to hear from campaigners and politicians about why we need to dismantle corporate courts – and how we can win.

ISDS is at the centre of a global economic system that favours corporations, giving them a privileged route to fight for their profits at the expense of people and planet. It threatens so many of the causes we care about: climate change, public ownership, democracy, health, workers’ rights and much more. Building the fairer, more sustainable world that we all want to see, will mean dismantling systems like these. So join us, and help us build the movement to kick corporate courts out for good.
