Antiracist organising assembly: a call to action
Fri 21 Mar 2025 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Lecture Theatre A (Arts School/Student Services), New Museums Site, Pembroke Street, Cambridge, CB2 3RA
Description
Join staff and students from across the University for an organising assembly to discuss the key challenges facing everyone who wants to challenge the rise of racism and the far-right. We will hear from trade unionists, local campaigners and student activists about the work they are doing to build movements which:
- Resist scapegoating and victimisation of refugees and migrants
- Organise to stop the spread of far-right and fascist ideas and movements
- Defend our multi-racial communities and build the confidence of the anti-racist majority in society
Come along to find out more and get involved in local campaigns and action.
This event is part of the Cambridge Week Against Racism.
