Description
A Comprehensive Approach to Gender Equality
Roundtable
As we mark the first quarter of the 21st century, a crucial voice has been notably absent from gender equality discussions: men's perspectives and experiences. While progress has been made in advancing women's rights and opportunities, it's time to examine men's views in the ongoing journey towards gender equality.
We seek to highlight the stories of men who have embraced true partnerships with their wives, navigating the complexities of balancing career ambitions, childcare responsibilities, and household management. Their stories reveal how parental roles are evolving, from fathers taking parental leave to couples making joint decisions about career moves.
These testimonials are invaluable, as they demonstrate how men adapt to changing family circumstances while maintaining their authentic selves. When men share stories of supporting their partners' careers, they provide powerful examples of how genuine cooperation between women and men strengthens families and society.
As Brian Page, founder of Modern Husbands, aptly notes: "Life and family change, and my priorities now are to support my wife's career ambitions and my children's needs." Such perspectives illustrate that the path to true gender equality requires active participation and commitment from both women and men, as well as a transformation in how we approach partnership and family life.

Some Quotes
Quote from Anne Dumesges: "I am also convinced that it is with men AND women that this fight (gender stereotypes at work) must be accelerated. 50% of the population can neither be sidelined nor look after themselves. Leadership is not a question of gender, but a question of business strategy and must be managed as such." From "Interview de Anne Dumesge de NBS Factory", 2024
“By the Hands of the Best, key to synergetic Leadership”, Nuria Chinchilla, Pilar Garcia Lombardia & Esther Jiménez Lopez, 2023:
“In order to harmonise the different facets of life she says: the correct selection of a husband is” vital.”
“Above all she values her husband and best friend, an intelligent, generous man with a great sense of humour and her biggest fan.”
