Explore Cleeve Common embraces 5,000 years of human history and is a SSSI for geology and habitats. Highlights of this Festival walk includes:
- Bronze Age Cross Dyke
- Iron Age settlements and hillfort
- location of the first Cheltenham Racecourse, and the old sheep dip
- type section of Middle Jurassic Oolite limestones
- diverse habitats and their flora and fauna.

Guided by the experts at GlosArch and Cleeve Common Trust you will get to hear the stories behind the natural beauty and come away with increased enjoyment of this wonderful space.

o Date/time: Friday, 31st July 2026, at 10.00am
o Meet at: The Quarry Car Park, Cleeve hill Common*
o This approx. 3.5mi walk includes some steeper sections on broken ground, and Cleeve Common is exposed, so reasonable fitness is advised. Wear sturdy footwear and bring water
o Donations will be received with thanks
o Families welcome, but not suitable for small children
o Service dogs only.

• Location: Off the B4632 at the summit of Cleeve Hill. Follow the signs for Cleeve Hill Golf Club. Cross the cattle grid and turn left
• Nearest Postcode: GL52 3PW (leads to the Golf Club)
