Description
STALLHOLDERS! Purveyors of Delicious local cheeses, Cakes and treat delights, Ciders and juices, rare breed meats, Herbs and flowers, books, unusual and beautiful arts & crafts and more... we need you to bring your wares to Apple Day at The Folk of Gloucester.
Apple Day is the National celebration of the Apple and the Cider industry. In partnership with Gloucestershire Orchard trust we celebrate the amazing range of apples found in Gloucestershire by displaying and getting the public to try over 30 different species of apple not found in the supermarkets. We also have Frank the plum loving horse pulling round our apple press and giving visitors the chance to see Cider production in action. Along with these activities we also have lots of children's activities and Morris dancing performances and workshops.
The Market will spread over the ground floor of the Folk and will lead visitors on a path of delicious sights and smells and the opportunity to buy produce direct and not found in the supermarkets.
We will be promoted online, on social media and with the help of Visit Gloucester in the city too.
Apple day has typically seen 500 visitors in the day in previous years with families being a big part of that and we would love to spread the word about your amazing produce.
Set up will be on Saturday the 21st of October and break down will be on Saturday the 21st of October.
We are expecting a good crowd for the event as this is one of our signature events, we look forward to seeing you have a very successful event.
