RoadPeace in partnership with the Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership warmly invite you and your family to attend a Remembrance  Service 2024 to remember lives lost and injured on our roads in Gloucestershire. 

World Day of Remembrance (WDR) for Road Traffic Victims is a globally recognised day, which always falls on the third Sunday of November. The day was introduced to remember the millions killed and seriously injured on the roads around the world, and to allow the bereaved to join together to reflect and talk of the lives of those they miss and will always love. The day also allows us to acknowledge the emergency services, and the tremendous work they do in responding to road traffic collisions.

You are welcome to arrive from 2pm with the Service of Remembrance starting at 2.30pm. This will be a time to reflect, remember and honour those we have lost. Following the service, there will be some light refreshments served which you are invited to stay for if you wish. 

This service is open to people of all faiths, and people of no faith.

Whilst the church is an accessible venue you might wish to advise the organisers if you have any special requirements that will improve your experience.

Parking is adjacent to the church but is limited. More details about parking locations will be provided to guests so that they can plan their journeys. Those with mobility issues can be dropped off outside the church.
