£5 Personal Assistant (Carer) Ticket
Light Post Farm is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all our visitors.
We offer one reduced-price Personal Assistant (PA) / Carer Ticket for £5 to eligible guests who require additional support to visit Light Post Farm.
To keep the process fair and consistent, eligibility is determined using the Nimbus Access Card scheme. The person requiring support must hold a valid Nimbus Access Card with the +1 symbol to qualify for a Carer Ticket.
If you do not have a Nimbus Access Card, you can apply for one through the Nimbus Access Card scheme.
We do not accept DLA, PIP, Blue Badges, medical letters or other disability-related documents directly as evidence of eligibility. If you do not currently have an Access Card, you will need to apply for one through Nimbus before purchasing a Light Post Farm Carer Ticket.
Children Under 16
All children under 16 must visit Light Post Farm with a responsible adult.
For a child requiring additional support, the appropriate paid child admission ticket must be purchased.
If the child holds a valid Nimbus Access Card with the +1 symbol, one additional PA / Carer Ticket may be purchased for £5 for the person providing their disability-related support..
For example, if an eligible child under 16 is attending Light Post Farm with a parent/guardian and an additional person providing disability-related support, the tickets required would be:
- 1 × Child Ticket — for the child requiring support.
- 1 × Adult Ticket — for the parent, guardian or responsible adult accompanying the child.
- 1 × £5 Carer Ticket — for the additional person providing disability-related support.
The child must hold a valid Nimbus Access Card with the +1 symbol for the £5 Carer Ticket to be valid.
The £5 Carer Ticket is an additional ticket and cannot replace the paid adult ticket required to accompany a child under 16. All tickets, including the £5 Carer Ticket, must be presented on entry.
Guests Aged 16 or Over
Guests aged 16 or over must purchase the appropriate admission ticket for themselves.
