🎶 Djs from the Diaspora 🎶
Basma is the host of Khartoum Arrivals on NTS Radio and the co-host of radio show and record label Hear, Sense and Feel. She plays music inspired by the long road, that will ease us into the evening; drawing from the wedding anthems and eclectic folk of Sudan, the Sahel, the Horn and beyond.
Tabideee known as Heba to friends, is Dj and Civil Engineer. When she’s not at the decks she is dedicating her time to Space Black which she founded to explore the intersect of engineering, design, and spaces for historically underrepresented communities. Her sound is shaped by her Sudanese identity and promises techno beats and much more to keep us bumping through through the night.
Jameela is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural facilitator and DJ. She also founded independent magazine, platform and creative agency AZEEMA in 2017, to explore identity, strength and creativity of women and non binary folk of the diaspora. She will be playing her unique and fresh sound of Afrohouse & UK Funky at the Hosh, bringing vibes on vibes.
Dj Semo is a DJ & Producer whose career has grown alongside his events brand Ice Cream LDN, who celebrate Afro-Carribean culture through their event series. His sound will take us from floor-filling Afroswing / Dancehall bootlegs of his favorite Club Bangers - catch him shutting down The Hosh on Jumbi Terrace as the sun goes down.

Thank you for your support.
This event represents a symbol of hope, in the face of recent military escalations in Sudan that have left a path of destruction and displacement. Many Sudanese families have had no choice but to flea their homes & earthly possessions, and are now seeking asylum.
There is desperate need for legal & medical aid. 100% ticket proceeds will be donated to providing this aid, through grassroots organisations including the incredible @sudaneselegalnetwork - ensuring as many families as possible are not left alone to survive this hostility. .
From us all at Gma's & Madaniya
Thank you x
