Sound Bath Saturday in a Tropical Dome
Experience two very different kinds of sound bath whilst immersed in nature, cocooned in the tranquility of a Tropical Dome
🎶 Himalayan Brainwave Bowl Meditation Class: These singing bowls were hand picked across Nepal for their specific frequencies, which create ethereal binaural tones when played together in certain combinations and cause your brainwaves to vibrate slower and shift towards a relaxing meditative state.
🚀 Gong & Sound Journey: A deeper sound journey facilitated by 3 powerful gongs, each with own character, vibration and range of frequencies, along with other sound healing instruments, including an ocean drum, koshi chimes, rain pillar and chakapa.

Every Gong Sound Journey is different and a very personal experience depending on where you are on your personal journey through life.
You don't need to know how to meditate or focus on being mindful and present as the Gongs can quickly transport you to a meditative state for deeper relaxation
Following a guided meditation to aid presence and begin to slow down your nervous system you will be immersed in the sound of the Gongs as their powerful vibrations, multi dimensional frequencies and tones envelop you and help you let go of your daily conscious thoughts as your mind begins to slow down and entrain to the deeper dominant frequencies. This is when we start to journey with our creative subconscious, giving respite for our body and mind to reset.
Whilst everyone's experiences are very individual, often people describe seeing vivid colours and patterns, or a feeling of movement and journeying through varied landscapes or oceanic settings.
Often people report feeling deeply relaxed, subsequently sleeping better than they have for a while, whilst others leave feeling energised and full of vigour. Some also say that aches, pains or traumas are eased as their body and mind let go.
Whatever your personal experience, you may well let go of your daily stresses and anxieties, and leave the session feeling tranquil and relaxed.

Equipment needed?
To get the most benefit from a gong bath we should be comfortable and warm lying on the floor for an extended period of time as when our heart rate lowers during a gong bath, so does our body temperature.
Attendees may wish to bring their own:
- Warm layers, and thick socks
- Weighted Eye pillow* or mask
- Blanket*
- Cushion*
- Yoga Mat* (and ideally a duvet or added padding to lie on)
- Water to keep hydrated
* a limited number will to available to borrow

What to expect? - Following a short reflective comfort break, post gongs, you'll settle back down with your cushions and blankets to experience the Himalayan Brainwave Singing Bowls.
When played in certain combinations the bowls create ethereal binaural tones, perceived as a blend of floaty oscillating tones, which entrain our mind's vibrating frequency from a busy 'beta' mindspace towards a calmer 'alpha' and into a meditative 'theta' brainwave state, on the cusp on slumber.
Following a period of silence, once they eventually stir and remove their weighted eye pillows, attendees often say that they feel a much needed sense of deep relaxation, some have also described leaving feeling light and sparkly, or like their aura is glowing.

- Experience the dreamy sounds of the Himalayan Sound Bowls as they reverberate across the Tropical Sound Dome.
- These bowls have been carefully selected to include closely matched frequencies that create Binaural Beats when certain bowls are combined
- As a result our busy brains slow down their vibrating frequencies through a process classed Brainwave Entrainment from a busy Beta Brainwave state, through a more dreamy and creative Alpha Brainwave state, towards a deeper subconscious Theta Brainwave state, which is associated with REM sleep, hypnosis and meditation.

To get the most benefit from a Sound Bath as we let go and journey we should aim to be as comfortable as we can.
It's good to keep snug, comfortable and warm whilst lying on the concrete paving floor for this extended period of time outdoors, as when we relax into a deeper rest and digest state during the Gong Sound Bath our heart rate and body temperature lowers.
Attendees may wish to bring:
- Warm layers, and thick socks
- Weighted eye pillow* or mask
- Thick blanket or duvet
- Cushions*
- Yoga Mat* to lie on (and ideally a duvet folder over for added padding underneath you)
- Water to keep hydrated
*a number fo these will be available to borrow
