Sound Meditations @ Broad Haven Village Hall
New to Broad Haven Village Hall
An Evening of Sound Meditations
Sunday 1st November
Have you ever not wanted to leave a sound bath? Wishing to stay and drift for longer?
These sessions invite you to stay for a second sound bath, affording you more time to switch off, rest, and perhaps drift a little deeper towards that still space where time fades, awareness expands, and you feel at one with nature, the elements, and the wider universe.
☀️🍃🎶💚
This evening offers two different kinds of sound bath, each designed to help you shift your energy.
The first session is a grounding Gong & Sound Journey with steady, wave-like vibrations from gongs that help you release and ease into a relaxed cognitive and physical state.
The second session honours the Himalayan & Brainwave Bowls, whose monaural (binaural-like) pulses and tones guide your brainwaves into a slower rhythm.

🚀 Gong & Sound Journey: 630-1945
A deeper sound journey facilitated by 3 powerful gongs, each with own character, vibration and range of frequencies, along with other sound healing instruments, including an ocean drum, koshi chimes, rain pillar, meditation flow chimes, wah pipe, shell chimes and chakapa.
🎶 Himalayan Brainwave Bowl Meditation Class: 800-845 Some of these singing bowls were hand picked across Nepal for their specific frequencies, which create ethereal acoustic or Monaural Beats when played together in certain combinations. These dreamy tones invite your brainwaves to vibrate slower and shift towards a relaxing meditative state
🎟 Tickets can be bought for one class, or as a combination

Gong Sound Journey 🔻
Every Gong Sound Journey is different and a very personal experience depending on where you are on your personal journey through life.
You don't need to know how to meditate or focus on being mindful and present as the Gongs can quickly transport you to a meditative state for deeper relaxation

Distracted by the depth of resonance, sounds and vibrations our busy minds succumb to the varying frequencies as our internal chatter or rumination thoughts can quickly move towards a dreamy state, where we journey through the sounds.
Some people report seeing vivid colour or patters, some feel a light or floating feeling , others relaxed and heavy. Whatever your personal experience, you may well let go of your daily stresses and anxieties, and leave the session feeling tranquil and relaxed.

Himalayan Brainwave Bowl Class 🔻
-
Experience the rich, immersive sounds of Himalayan and Brainwave Singing Bowls — from the deep, grounding resonance of the larger Himalayan bowls to the more ethereal, floaty tones of the Brainwave Bowls.
-
The Brainwave Bowls have been carefully selected for their closely matched frequencies. When particular bowls are played together, the slight difference between their frequencies creates a rhythmic acoustic pulse, often referred to as a monaural beat — a gently oscillating, almost hypnotic sound that can be heard and felt.
-
Together, the deeper grounding tones and lighter pulsing frequencies create a layered, immersive soundscape that may support brainwave entrainment, encouraging the busy mind away from faster Beta activity, through the calmer, more dreamy and creative Alpha state, and towards slower Theta activity, a state associated with deep meditation, hypnagogic states, imagery and aspects of REM sleep
