Hello Carvers,

The Carving subgroup will be having a hands on carving class. This will be more of a beginner class using a carving knife. The subject will be a 6 inch wizard. To allow adequate time, the eyes will not be carved, but if time allows, a demo on carving an eye will be done. If you are more advanced with a knife, other projects may be available. This is a caricature carving class. It will be led by 2 wonderful caricature carvers who are members of the New England Woodcarvers- Gary Filliault and Edsel Johnson. Gloves and knives will be supplied if needed. Due to the time allotment, the class will be limited to 12 participants.
