GOAT GRID x BELLEWETHER SPIRITS humbly invite you to share in an inaugural event : Fête de Renaissance. Come and enjoy a day of food, drink and connection on the magical grounds of GOAT GRID farm.
In the spirit of RE:BIRTH, we will be gathering on Sunday 15 September at the GOAT GRID Agroforestry farm near Lewes, East Sussex to spread seeds and give back — both from the land and our own hands — in a tradition of sharing in the abundance that life and the universe provide.
An integral part of the celebration will be a 6-course lunch, lovingly prepared by GOAT GRID chef and farmer Joshua Dickinson, known in the local community for the beauty he creates at BAYTE in St Leonards, and from the time he spent under the tutelage of esteemed chefs at establishments such as LE CHATEAUBRIAND in Paris.
Intertwined will be pairings and sharings of bespoke BELLEWETHER SPIRITS (both with and without alcohol), including innovative health elixirs made from the gifts that grow under our feet and from the soil, a.k.a. the "soul of the earth" known as Goat Grid farm.
A full program, menu and details shall be revealed in the coming days.
Please note that space and seats are limited. Thus reservations are required to ensure food and drinks for all. Event is KID-FRIENDLY so please come as a family if you so desire.
We very much look forward to sharing more with you and are excited at the promise of what we hope will be a tremendously magical day on the farm. A celebration of light, life and the bounty of harvest in what we hope will become the first of many!

DONATIONS
In order to make the event accessible to all who wish to attend - admission is absolutely free. If you are able and willing to contribute, a suggested donation of £50-£75 will help cover the expense of food, drinks, staff and service. Additional donations allow us to provide additional offerings, services and gifts to all that attend.
With that said, 10% of all proceeds will be shared with Voices in Exile and Legacy of War Foundation.
Voices in Exile works with refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants with no recourse to public funds in East and West Sussex and Surrey. We offer practical and legal support including generalist advice and specialist immigration casework (up to OISC Level 2) for those who would otherwise be unable to access justice. As part of our holistic approach we offer practical support including a weekly food and toiletries bank for those who are destitute; and also advocate for, accompany and enable people to access services, build community, and develop their own potential through a programme of learning and creative activities. We seek to encourage people to find positive ways to address their own needs, build skills and resilience, and work towards integration in the UK through an active programme of volunteering.
Legacy of War Foundation was established with the desire to "do thing differently." Their localised, sustainable, beneficiary-led projects supporting communities around the world as they recover from conflict and return power, funding and assets to the hands of the communities they work with. In seeking to challenge the traditional neo-colonial concepts in the aid sector, Legacy of War Foundation implements a collaborative model guided by our beneficiaries (or as they prefer ‘partners’).
