Teen Dressmaking Course at the Go Deer Workshop
Join us for a fun and creative 4-session sewing course designed especially for teens who want to learn how to make their own clothes. This is for 11-16 year olds and the classes are bi-weekly Tuesday evenings running on the following dates:
June 2, 16, & 30 and July 14
Whether you’re completely new to sewing or already have some experience, this relaxed and supportive course will help you build confidence and develop practical dressmaking skills while working on projects at your own level and pace.
Across the four sessions, participants will learn how to use sewing machines confidently, understand patterns, cut fabric, construct garments and add professional finishing touches. Teens can choose suitable clothing projects with guidance throughout, allowing them to create handmade pieces they’ll be proud to wear.
With small group sizes and plenty of individual support, this course encourages creativity, independence and personal style in a welcoming studio environment.
