Go Electric Colorado is ready to launch! 

Please join us for this intimate event at the recently electrified home of Jules Kortenhorst and Searl Vetter in Longmont, CO. 

Jules is a globally recognized leader on energy issues and climate change, partner in Vision Ridge sustainable assets, and former CEO of RMI (Rocky Mountain Institute). Searl is an entrepreneur, women’s leadership and Techstar CEOs mentor. They are excited to host this event at their home, 15-minutes north of Boulder, to support the launch of a new electrification focused non-profit, Go Electric Colorado. Keynote talks at 3pm, activities will be offered throughout, including food and drink refreshments, electrified home tours, EV rides, induction cooking demonstration, and scavenger hunt.

We help homeowners

Go Electric Colorado is a volunteer network of Neighborhood Electrification Advisors who support electrification in our communities through virtual and in-person consults, educational events, and advocacy. Home electrification is complex and most homeowners don’t know where, when, or how to begin. Upfront costs can be high, incentives are confusing, and helpful contractors hard to find. GECO provides one-on-one guidance through the electrification process, helping households avoid pitfalls and maximize benefits and incentives. Simply put, we are neighbors helping neighbors move toward a clean energy future.

Every dollar you give will help build our volunteer network of Neighborhood Electrification Advisors and accelerate our transition to clean energy in our homes and buildings. Here's what your money will go towards.

480V supporter - $480 will develop a new tool for our advisors
240V supporter - $240 will recruit a new advisor
120V supporter - $120 will provide supplies for an advisor
12V supporter - $60 will fund 2 home consults
5V supporter - $30 will fund 1 home consult
3V supporter - $15 will support general projects
