Welcoming in the showering blessings of April The blossoming of the spring continues. 🌼🌺🌷💐🌻
🌹Working with the nurturing plant of Cacao, we will cook the medicine together in song and prayer before offering our gifts and flowers to the altar, get comfortable and ready to speak our intentions and create our container together
❤️There will be time to enjoy and savour the warm, rich, nutritious silkiness of Cacao and gently drop in to relaxation. The drum will lull us in to theta brain wave and deep rest to lead us into a journey with our hearts.
🦅We will be working with Spirit animals and guides to gain insights to any queries that arise for us at this time
📖After our journey, there will be a time to write down any insights you receive and you will be offered a space to share anything you feel would benefit yourself and the group.
🙏We will close the space together before sharing some snacks to ground us before we journey home.
🔥We journey in candle light accompanied by the sweet aromas of rose and mugwort (the dream herb) (please let us know if any allergies)
Please bring :
🌺a blanket and cushion
🌺a notebook and pen

⭐️Ceremonial Cacao Precautions
You should speak with your doctor before consuming ceremonial cacao if you are;
- Taking antidepressants - Cacao contains tryptophan and MAO inhibitors that may cause a synergistic intensification when combined with antidepressants.
- Taking hypertension medication
- Have a Heart Condition
- If you are Pregnant
- The theobromine in cacao is a vasodilator: it increases the heart rate and lowers blood pressure. Ceremony Cacao doses can increase blood flow to the brain & heart by at least 40%.
- * if you are taking 5-htp (5-Hydroxytryptophan) it's advisable to have a smaller dose of cacao.
* If you are taking St John's Wort, please refrain from taking it for a few days before & after the cacao circle - If you take antipsychotic medication, (for any reason)
If you have a heart condition or are pregnant it is likely still safe to consume ceremonial cacao but at lower doses of around 15-20g - let me know if you need a smaller dose.
