Workshop: The Courage to be Human ❤️
Workshop: The Courage to be Human ❤️
In professions shaped by optimisation, risk‑management and accumulation, it’s easy to forget that advisory work is, at its core, deeply human. This in‑person workshop invites advisors to explore what becomes possible when we show up not only as technical experts, but as humans in relationship with our clients and the communities we’re part of.
Together we will:
- Be in conversation with Louisa Mann, a wealth steward and Chair of Thirty Percy, along with her former advisor Jen Hooke, RZ Studio, about how the impossible became possible through curiosity, honesty and their human relationship, as they navigated investment policy statements, philanthropy, family dynamics and trusts.
- Participate in a practical Language Lab to surface the advisory phrases that support and the ones that hinder values‑aligned action.
- Explore with Steph Brobbey, founder of the Good Ancestor Movement, how reconnecting to her humanity sparked the vision to connect her advisory skills with a bold commitment to moving wealth and power back to communities.
This workshop is for advisors who want to work with courage and care and who see humanity as a catalyst for meaningful change.
We’ll meet from 2pm–5pm, followed by informal drinks to connect and continue the conversation. The central London venue is located between Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street underground stations; full details will be provided upon registration.
This workshop offers professionals an opportunity to engage in reflective learning, peer dialogue and ongoing professional competence in line with CPD principles.
