Winter Pig Experience

Wrap up warm and join us at our beautiful sanctuary for a unique experience with our rescued pigs. 

Come and enjoy a heartwarming Winter Pig Experience! Spend time with our delightful group of rescued pigs, get to know their unique personalities, and hear their incredible stories. You’ll also discover what goes into caring for these wonderful animals – it’s a hands-on experience you won’t forget!

What's included:

• We’ll start the experience in our Visitor & Education room, where you’ll learn all about charity and its aims.
• Next, we'll head up to our Pig Barn, a cosy space where you’ll be able to meet our rescued pigs and learn all about their unique personalities and rescue stories. 
• Next, you’ll learn all about pig "enrichment" and have a go at making some fun sensory toys for our pigs to enjoy.
• There will be lots of opportunities to interact with our pigs, giving them some fuss and attention, which they love!
• Finally, you can pay a visit to our mini gift shop where you can get your hands on some official sanctuary merchandise, including clothing, homeware and even adopting your favourite animal.

Other things to note:

• Please bring appropriate footwear (e.g. wellies or walking boots) as we will be walking through long grass and over uneven terrain. No open-toed sandals, flip-flops, or sliders. Please also prepare for all weather conditions, by bringing waterproofs where appropriate.
• Only the number of people listed on your tickets are allowed to attend. If you bring additional guests who have not been pre-booked, they will be turned away. 
• Dogs are not permitted on any of our tours or experiences.
• Unfortunately, our Winter Pig experiences are not currently accessible for pushchairs, wheelchair users or those unsteady on their feet. If you would like to book an accessible experience, please email visit@goodheart.org.uk and we'll be happy to arrange a visit.
• All experiences involve close proximity to animals, so please let us know if you have any allergies or phobias.
• In the unlikely event that your experience is cancelled due to events outside out control, you will be issued a refund or offered the opportunity to transfer your booking to another date.
• For your safety, we recommend that pregnant visitors avoid close contact with farm animals, as some may carry infections that can be risky during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, please contact us before your visit so we can help you plan a safe and enjoyable experience.

Cancellation Policy:

This policy applies to experiences run by Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries. By booking on to these events, you agree to the below cancellation terms and conditions:

Cancellation by the customer:

Our cancellation and refund policy for Tours and Experiences is as follows:

• If you cancel more than 14 days before the event: We will issue a full refund.
• If you cancel 7 to 14 days before the event: We will send you a voucher for the ticket amount, which can be applied to future tours and experiences.
• If you cancel less than 7 days before the event: No refunds available.*

• No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for the event and have not cancelled according to our policy, no refunds or vouchers will be issued.

*We understand that emergencies can occur. If you face exceptional circumstances, please contact us directly to discuss potential solutions.

Tickets will only be exchanged or refunded at the sole discretion of Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries.

Please email us at visit@goodheart.org.uk as soon as possible. Cancellations cannot be processed through social media, as this inbox is not consistently monitored.

Cancellations or event changes by Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries:
In the unlikely event that Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries needs to cancel or change the event, we will offer a full refund or reschedule the event at no additional cost.

Group bookings:

This policy also applies to individual cancellations within group bookings.
