Good Ways Exeter - Route Sharing Sprint
Good Ways Exeter - Route Sharing Sprint
Help put Exeter’s best walking, wheeling and cycling routes on the map.
Rougemont Room, Exeter Library
Everyone welcome
Bring a laptop if you can. Paper maps will be available. Bring some lunch if you'd like!
Let's see how many routes we can share in six hours! Come and share one route or stay and help us add lots.
A new session starts on the hour, every hour, with a short introduction and demonstration. We’ll then help you get started.
You might share:
- a useful way across town
- a quiet route that avoids busy roads
- an accessible route to the shops
- a favourite walk or cycle
- a route you use all the time and would recommend to someone else.
You don’t need any special skills or experience.
And despite the name, there’s no actual sprinting involved.
What will we do?
Together we’ll:
- explore how Good Ways Exeter can benefit you, your community and the city
- share good local routes that help people find their way and discover new places
- try and check routes other people have added
- test the new Good Ways website and app
Come for one session, stay for longer, share one route or share many. It’s completely up to you.
Part of Good Ways Exeter
Good Ways Exeter is bringing local people together to create an app and giant interactive map of good routes that people recommend.
The project is being developed here in Exeter and is funded by Active Travel England.
