Convergence 2026 - a dance double bill

Good Women Dance Collective Artists Alison Kause, Alida Kendell, Deviani Andrea and Artistic Contributor, Molly McDermott, join forces with acclaimed improvisor and educator, Lin Snelling, and award winning lighting designer, Erin Gruber, in a new work based on five solo dance scores that overlay and intersect.

Dorsal Traces 

Is Deaf Dorsality an answer to toxic masculinity? Is it a way to navigate disagreement and overcome purity politics? Can it be a form of mutual support and a stepping stone toward true solidarity?

Dorsal Traces is the first collaboration between A Fichu Turning (Québec) and The Invisible Practice (Alberta). Through the bodies and hands of Cai Glover and Connor Yuzwenko-Martin, Deaf Dorsality is portrayed as a rare and necessary deconstruction of Deaf, Queer, and masculine identities. Join them and consider: do we really have each other’s backs?
