Schubertiade with Lance Mok & Natalie Montakhab

Schubertiade with Lance Mok & Natalie Montakhab — 24 October

Hong Kong-born pianist and composer Lance Mok returns on 24 October, joined by soprano Natalie Montakhab, for a beautiful evening devoted entirely to the music of Franz Schubert.

The programme brings together the lyrical warmth of the Sonata in A, D 664, the charm and elegance of the 12 Grazer Walzer, D 924, and the searching emotional depth of the 3 Klavierstücke, D 946 — a journey through some of Schubert’s most intimate and expressive piano writing.

To complete the evening, Lance and Natalie will come together for a selection of Schubert’s exquisite songs, bringing poetry and music together in some of the most moving writing for voice and piano.
