Yearning: A show by Eve Pierce and Gordon Peery

We yearn for things. Love, places, food, and or maybe just wanting to hear a certain chord resolved. 

Eve and Gordon have put together a delightful and entertaining program which incorporates songs that touch on yearning: from the jazz era, rock and roll, folk, show tunes, and contemporary popular music. Their ease across all these genres is enhanced by their unique interpretations which are sure to put a smile on your face and a glow in your heart.

Eve is a passionate and charismatic singer-songwriter with a penchant for singing Songs about humans, gods, and snakes. Her stage energy and repertoire know no bounds. She might also have a ukelele and a kazoo. You can find her feverishly writing music and lyrics in a room with all the lights out, singing in the middle of the woods, or staring blankly where the ocean meets the sky.

Gordon’s accompaniment on keyboard and guitar provide the perfect flexible foundation for Eve’s energy.
