Round 1 - SUNDAY 29 November 2026 at Minley Warren, Minley Road, Yateley, Hants, GU17 9LP
The Brass Monkeys, the premier XC Endurance Series in the South, is headline sponsored by www.muc-off.com, makers of the most innovative cleaning products around to keep you and your bikes running at full potential.
Hugely popular, it is held at outstanding venues which are highly
suitable for XC endurance racing on 5-6 mile laps. Each course is
carefully planned and prepared by a very experienced team, and you'll
ride through heath and pine woodland with flowing and testing
single track mixed in with swooping trails and stone fire roads. You
just choose how long you want to ride for, select your age category and
then complete as many laps as you can before the time cut off.
Categories* - which have changed for this year - are defined by your age on Sunday 31 January 2027 and will be:
2hr: Open 14-17, Female 14+, Open 18-39, Open 40-49, Open 50-59, Open 60+
3hr: Open 18-39, Female 18+, Open 40-49, Open 50-59, Open 60+, Single Speed
These friendly events have full facilities. Each event is a stand-alone race
with unique www.four4th.co.uk sponsored trophies, but it's also a round of a Series, and you
need to ride
and get points in every round to be in contention. There's podium
trophy and prize presentations very soon after the end of each category finish, plus
Series
trophies and prizes at the last round. Thanks to our generous sponsors, a
variety of spot prizes will also handed out during the Series.
The event will open at 8am for the collection of your www.brilliantbikes.co.uk sponsored number board & course pre-riding.
