After recent rider feedback, the end of Lockdown 2 and in the light of recent Government guidance, we're running another bespoke XC endurance event at our Highlands Farm venue, rigorously risk assessed for smaller numbers of riders with social distancing to the fore. The timing means that the Covid incubation period after Christmas socialising will have passed. There's categories for all, including separate Female age categories and a Male 60+ category.
Since our last event the team have been very busy at the venue creating half a kilometre of new ‘resting’ track so you can rest and refuel more easily, so don’t expect the same course.
We’ll let you know if supporters will be able to attend nearer the time.
Here’s the timetable, categories will start separately, at intervals:
Saturday 6 March from 8.30am:
3 hour 16-39 Male / 3 hour 40-49 Male / 3 hour 50+ Male
Saturday 6 March from 12.30am
3 hour 40+ Male / 3 hour 50+ Male / 3 hour 60+ Male / 3 hour Female 18-39 / 3 hour Female 40+
Sunday 7 March from 9am
3 hour 18-39 Male / 3 hour 40-49 Male / 3 hour 50+ Male
Sunday 7 March from 1pm
1.5 hour 18-39 Male / 1.5 hour 40-49 Male / 1.5 hour 50+ Male / 1.5 hour Female 18-39 / 1.5 hour Female 40+
ENTRY: As before places will be limited to protect the riders and the team. Entry opens at 10am on Monday 1 March.
As we’re opening entry late to allow for any eventualities, please don’t enter the event unless you’re sure you can make it, as we won’t be able to change or refund any entries due to Track & Trace requirements.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The event will be TORQ fuelled, so all riders will receive a TORQ Fitness gel from our sponsor. There’ll also be our unique trophies to be won courtesy of event sponsor Four4th Lights. All riders will be entered in a prize draw to win a superb prize.
A FINAL INSTRUCTIONS EMAIL will be sent out to all entered riders once entry has closed, containing full event information including health & safety and social distancing procedures.
