The Halloween Autumn Classic XC races event is on Sunday 29 October
at our all weather venue at Highlands Farm, Frimley Green, Surrey GU16
6HT. The course will be 4 miles. Entry limited to 200 riders.
There’s categories for riders of all ages and abilities from age 8+. In line with British Cycling's current policy: transgender women,
transgender men, non-binary individuals and those whose sex was assigned male at birth will be eligible to compete in the Open 16+
category only, and should ensure that they continue to adhere to the requirements of UK Anti-Doping. Those whose sex was assigned female at birth are also able to compete in the Open category if they so wish. The Female categories will remain in place for those whose sex was assigned
female at birth and transgender men who are yet to begin hormone therapy.
Despite it being Halloween weekend, you can expect a friendly, well organised event with a 4 mile prepped course with enough overtaking places to ensure highly enjoyable racing. There’ll be trophies presented on the podium with spot prizes to be won. The arena will have full facilities including quality catering and toilets and will be very spectator friendly.
Pre-entry will be open until late on the Wednesday before the event or you can enter on the day from 8am if any spaces are left.
All pre-entered riders will receive a pre-event information email in the week leading up to the event and course updates will be posted on our Facebook.
Registration is open from 8am for the collection of your number board if you pre-enter and Day Entries if available.
CATEGORIES – all categories for riders 17+ are based on your age on 31st December of the current year
Fun an ability category that's the starting point for regular mtb riders new to racing ages 16+
Open an ability category for those who’ve done some racing and want to race for longer ages 16+
Sport an ability category for when you’ve really got the racing bug ages 16+
Expert a very competitive ability category ages 18+
Veteran an age defined category for competitive racers ages 40-49
Veteran Plus for older, experienced riders who like to race an extra lap ages 40+
Grand Veteran an age category for more experienced, competitive racers ages 50+
Super Veteran an age category for experienced, competitive racers ages 60+
Youth an age category for riders in the year of their 15th or 16th birthday
Juvenile an age category for riders in the year of their 13th or 14th birthday
Under 13 an age category for riders from their 11th birthday to 31st December of the year of their 12th birthday
Under 11 for riders from their 8th birthday to the day before their 11th birthday
