Coach Travel Terms & Conditions

We want everyone to have a comfortable, safe and enjoyable journey. By travelling with us, you agree to the following:

🎫 Travel Conditions

Arrival times are provided as a guide only and are based on normal traffic conditions. Go Stroud Ltd cannot guarantee arrival times and explicitly excludes any liability for indirect or consequential financial losses, including but not limited to missed onward travel connections, flights, missed business appointments, or lost wages resulting from delays or breakdowns. If your arrival time is critical, we strongly advise making alternative travel arrangements.

All passengers must have a valid, pre-booked electronic ticket and present it when boarding.

If we cancel your journey for any reason we will give you a full refund. Our liability is strictly limited to providing a full refund of the ticket price paid to us. Go Stroud Ltd will not be liable for any alternative transport costs, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by the passenger as a result of a cancellation.

Passengers under 16 must travel with an adult (18 or over).

No pets or animals are permitted on the coach.

Bulky items such as large luggage or bicycles may be carried, but this is at the driver’s discretion.

Go Stroud Ltd is the booking agent for this service. The coach hire company operating the bus is the licensed carrier, and so makes the final decisions on issues of safety, weather conditions and routing.

🍴 Food, Drink & Allergens

You’re welcome to eat and drink on board, including refreshments we provide and anything you bring with you.

As a range of food and drinks may be consumed on the coach, including common allergens such as nuts and dairy, we cannot guarantee that any unpackaged food or drink is completely free from allergens, even if they are not listed ingredients.

Please be considerate of others and avoid bringing very strong-smelling foods.

Please use the bins provided and take all litter with you or dispose of it responsibly.

♿ Accessibility

We aim to make our service as accessible and inclusive as possible. If you let us know your requirements in advance, we will aim to help wherever we can.

If you have a Disabled Persons Railcard, you may find that the train service between Stroud and London is slightly cheaper and significantly faster than our service, thanks to the discount provided by train operators.

Our coach complies with the Public Service Vehicle Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR).

One wheelchair space is available per journey. Passengers using this space will remain in their wheelchair for the duration of the journey. If you wish to book this space, please select the ‘Wheelchair space’ ticket when booking.

The maximum combined weight of the wheelchair and passenger is 300kg, governed strictly by the mechanical safety limits of the vehicle's passenger lift.

If you book a wheelchair space, please provide details of the wheelchair (including dimensions, make and model) so our coach provider can confirm it falls within the legal and technical safety dimensions required to secure the chair safely on board using the vehicle's anchoring system.

We are unable to carry passengers on mobility scooters in the wheelchair space. However, small lightweight (Class 2) mobility scooters may be accepted for storage in the luggage compartment. Please contact us before booking with the make and model so we can confirm if it can be carried. The driver is unable to assist with dismantling or reassembling scooters, so this must be done by you or a companion.

For passengers who can transfer to a standard coach seat, wheelchairs may be carried in the luggage hold where they can be safely stored. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept wheelchairs weighing more than 20kg unless lifting assistance is available at both ends of the journey.

Please note that while the coach is wheelchair accessible, it does not have an accessible toilet.

The driver and Go Stroud Ltd team are not permitted to assist with eating or personal care, and cannot lift or carry passengers under any circumstances. We must not take any action that could put your safety or the driver’s safety at risk.

We are also unable to provide medical assistance (such as administering medication). If you require this type of support, please travel with a companion who can assist you throughout the journey.

🎒 Luggage & Personal Property

You are responsible for your own luggage and personal belongings at all times.

You are responsible for your own luggage and personal belongings at all times. Go Stroud Ltd accepts no liability for loss or damage to passenger property unless directly caused by our proven negligence.

Our maximum liability for any proven loss of or damage to luggage or personal property is contractually limited to a maximum of £250 per passenger. High-value items, including but not limited to laptops, tablets, luxury watches, jewelry, and cash, are carried entirely at the passenger's own risk, and passengers are strongly advised to hold appropriate personal travel insurance.

Any lost property will be held by the coach company. We can contact them on your behalf if you get in touch at hello@GoStroud.club

🛑 Safety & Behaviour

Your safety is our priority. The driver is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle at all times.

Passengers must behave in a safe and respectful manner. The driver may refuse travel to, or require to leave the coach, anyone whose behaviour compromises safety or breaches applicable regulations.

If you cause any damage to the vehicle, you will be held responsible for the cost of repair.

You use any on-board facilities (such as hot water or hot drinks) at your own risk. If you wish to use the hot water facilities provided while travelling, we recommend only doing so when the coach is on a dual carriageway or motorway.

Please use the cup holders provided to reduce the risk of spillages and ensure bags, phones and other items are stowed securely.

Passengers should exercise caution when moving around the vehicle, particularly whilst it is in motion.

Seatbelts are fitted, and should be used when the coach is in motion.

✅ Final Notes

We ask everyone to be considerate of fellow passengers and help us keep the coach clean, safe and pleasant for all.
