PLANT DYE CLUB - RYE

Plant Dye Club is a guided, hands-on introduction to the art of botanical colour. Guests are invited to work with natural dyes derived from plants, roots and flowers, exploring the properties of botanicals and the process through which colour is extracted, transformed, and applied to natural fabrics.

Guests leave with their own wearable art: a personally dyed silk scarf carrying a direct trace of the materials, process and moment in which it was made.

During the experience, botanicals are steeped into a sweet iced herbal tea, served alongside the dye process as a sensory complement.

Where possible, I source deadstock silk, surplus fabric from design houses, and collect and repurpose the botanicals used, giving materials a second life and supporting a more circular economy approach.
