Grantham - HANDS UP! Family Rave

The HANDS UP! Family Rave is returning to The Refectory at Grantham College, on Saturday 5th April 2025.

A club experience for the whole family to rave as one!

Live DJ, pro light effects, lasers, UV, confetti, dancers and more, delivering an authentic rave experience! (All advertised effects are subject to venue permission)

Family friendly music, from Drum and Bass, to 90’s Ibiza classics, to Techno and Modern Dance and remixes of songs the next generation of ravers will be familiar with!

VIP experience! A unique opportunity to take to the stage for 15 minutes to get a taste of life as a superstar DJ! Our VIP tickets provide an exclusive experience with access to a premium seating area for the duration of the rave and special goodies to elevate your enjoyment! To make it even more exclusive, we only sell one VIP ticket per event, so grab yours quickly!

There will be a licensed bar for drinks and snacks, face painters and our merchandise stand selling rave items. We also have our craft area to keep the children busy, with colouring, stickers, bracelet making and scratch art.

We will be raising money from this event for the South Lincolnshire Blind Society and Friends of Sandon and Ambergate.

Our family rave has even featured on BBC radio and in various local news articles.

Important info on this event can be found below;

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on and if anybody with tickets finds they cannot attend an event please email info@granthameventscompany.co.uk and we will try to sell on to people seeking to buy tickets.

Please be aware that most events are standing and dancing with limited seating. Please contact us in advance if seating is required for a member of your group.

A max of 3 children (Aged 2-12) per adult. If in a large group then one adult per two children please. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email info@granthameventscompany.co.uk for pre-approval before buying tickets.

This event is for families with younger children (Aged 2-12) though all ages are welcome. Adults will not be admitted unless accompanied by a child.

Bag searches will be made on entry to ensure everyone’s safety.

There will be photography and filming during this event and by entering you are giving your permission for photos and videos to be used for Grantham Events Company promotion purposes.

For groups attending with babies. There will be free buggy storage at the venue and baby change area in/near the toilets. Drinks and snacks will also be available at the venue (though no baby specific foods so please bring what you may need).

Music will be played at a safe level for everyone whilst still providing the club atmosphere. If anyone in your group may be sensetive to sound we advise bringing along ear defenders as a precaution.

Please be aware that the HANDS UP rave is here to provide a family friendly, club experience and is not a traditional children's party or disco. There will be a small number of interactions during the event but mostly we want to give families a fun, safe space to be at one, partying and dancing together.
