Cooking workshops
*Please note this is the first of a series of 5 workshops, please sign up if you are able to attend all the workshops.
Participants will learn to make a series of tasty, affordable and culturally-rooted recipes with the opportunity to try the end results!
GCK is looking to launch a formal qualification in cookery in 2026, so these workshops could be a good taster to see if you want to sign up for a certificated course in the future.
Facilitator: Bouchra
Bouchra is deeply passionate about cooking, especially when it comes to creating delicious and budget-friendly meals for her family. She enjoys
exploring diverse cuisines, trying out new cuisine and tastes from around the world. During the lockdown, Bouchra contributed her culinary skills at Granville Kitchen, lending a helping hand to the community through her volunteering efforts. With over nine years of experience working in a school and a background as a childminder and children’s center staff member, Bouchra brings her dedication to nurturing others into every aspect of her
life, including her love for cooking. Her journey reflects a blend of creativity, resourcefulness, and care for those around her.
