Plaid Cymru London Dinner

100 years on from the establishment of Plaid Cymru's London branch, the party was elected to lead the Welsh Government in May this year.

Among its pledges was a vision to be a government with the most international outlook in the nation's history. This determination to build a confident, outward-looking Wales includes a refreshed approach to engaging with the Welsh diaspora - and throughout the party’s history the Welsh in London have been among the most dynamic of diaspora communities.

Party leader Rhun ap Iorwerth will address this celebratory dinner, to outline the party's values which shape his government's new vision, and his aim to shape a Wales which is open for investment and for creative partnerships, and where friends of Wales everywhere are invited to play their part in building the nation’s future.

Cinio Llundain Plaid Cymru

Ganrif ar ôl sefydlu cangen Llundain Plaid Cymru, etholwyd y blaid i arwain Llywodraeth Cymru ym mis Mai eleni.

Ymhlith ei haddewidion roedd gweledigaeth o fod yn llywodraeth â'r agwedd ryngwladol fwyaf uchelgeisiol yn hanes y genedl. Mae'r ymrwymiad hwn i adeiladu Cymru hyderus sy'n edrych tuag allan yn cynnwys strategaeth newydd ar gyfer ymgysylltu â'r diaspora Cymreig. Drwy gydol hanes y blaid, mae'r Cymry yn Llundain wedi bod ymhlith y cymunedau diaspora mwyaf deinamig a bywiog.

Bydd arweinydd y blaid, Rhun ap Iorwerth, yn annerch y cinio dathlu hwn gan amlinellu gwerthoedd y blaid sy'n sail i weledigaeth newydd ei lywodraeth. Ei uchelgais yw llunio Cymru sy'n agored i fuddsoddiad a phartneriaethau creadigol, ac lle gwahoddir cyfeillion Cymru, lle bynnag y bônt, i chwarae eu rhan wrth adeiladu dyfodol y genedl.
