Graphic Design Is Not Dead - Letterpress

Join us for a day of letterpress printing. In this beginner-friendly taster into the world of letterpress, you will experience the historic printing process that sits at the very foundation of graphic design. Led by a specialist, you will be guided through the printing process in a small collaborative group. You will try out constructing the type, inking the machine and printing.

There are limited spots. This event will run in small groups. If you are coming with someone, either book together or right after the other to ensure the session doesn’t reach capacity in between.

This is a series of hands-on design experiences bringing Graphic Designers together offline. Created in response to a shifting industry that’s becoming more automated and prompted. This project exists to reconnect with the craft of handmade design. Whether you’ve been working as a Designer for many years, you’re just getting started, or you’re simply curious, this is a space for you. This is not a networking event. It is a space to nourish your creativity and feel good.
