Stephanie Krimmel Bio:
Stephanie Krimmel is an experimental and experiential artist exploring concepts of time, scale and human experience in her work. Her primary media are digital and installation art. Since 2018, she has practiced digital painting every day in a series called the Daily Art Habit where almost every painting is a continuation of the previous day’s work. It currently spans over 3000 consecutive days of practice.

Bridging the digital and physical worlds, Krimmel prints her daily digital works as postcards, using them as raw materials for site-specific installations and wall sculptures constructed from anywhere between 60 and 3000 individual pieces. With forms responding to their physical environments and content and organization dependent upon on the current state of the daily series, each installation offers a unique temporal experience.
