2023 Cotton Tail Challenge Rules

1. Two person teams. REQUIRED State of Michigan small game licenses - this is YOUR responsibility to obtain PRIOR to event. All State of Michigan laws pertaining to Small Game Hunting MUST be followed.
2. Optional $5 per person buy-in for the heaviest rabbit
3. Dogs are permitted but must stay out of the clubhouse.
4. Teams can go hunting anywhere legally allowed but NO hunting will be allowed on GLSC property during this event (Including Club Members)
5. Registration can be done online prior to the start of the event OR In-Person at GLSC from 7 am until 830 am on the day of the event. Please bring barcode ticket at weigh-in or have barcode available on phone. 
6. If registering online prior to January 28th, check-in isn't required in the morning. 
7. Must return for weigh-in!
8. Weigh-in begins at 1 pm. Teams MUST be checked in by 3 PM for weigh-in at the club. Rabbits should not be gutted or skinned prior to weighing.
9. Winners will be announced as soon as all weighing has concluded.
10. A total of 10 rabbits ( 5 per team member) is the limit per the State of Michigan and will be the limit for this event.
11. The heaviest total weight of rabbits will be entered for team awards. 
12. Optional - The Heaviest rabbit for an individual will be the winner for those entered. 
13. In the case of a tie the longest tail will win.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 teams (total weight) and to the individual heaviest rabbit winner.

Hot dog, Chips, Water & Coffee included in the price.  Additional drinks available for purchase.

Gun Raffle & 50/50 Raffle tickets available for purchase only at the clubhouse throughout the day.

Gun Raffle Tickets will cost $5 for one or $20 for 5.

50/50 tickets will cost $1 for one or $5 for 6.
