LET'S TALK ABOUT DEATH - A workshop to prepare your best goodbye

Wed 23 Sep 2026 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Grave Expectations, DE4 3LY

Arranging a funeral is one of the hardest things your people will ever have to do. Why not make it easy on them?

We all know we're going to die someday — so doesn't it make sense to prepare for that last goodbye while you still have your marbles and are in good health? Not as a morbid exercise, but as a genuine gift to yourself and the people you leave behind. Because when you take the time to think it through now, you get to make it truly yours. You get to have the conversations that matter, put your wishes on paper, and maybe even realise what you still want to do, change, or say before that day comes.

This season, nature is preparing to let go. It's the perfect time for you to do the same. Get it tackled before the holiday season. Imagine the interesting conversations you'll have!

We're delighted to be hosting the Let's Talk About Death workshop, a warm and open evening where we'll guide you through all the things you might want to think about and write down. You'll leave with your own personalised 'For When I'm Gone' booklet — something all involved will be endlessly grateful for.

During the evening you can expect:

  • A relaxed, friendly space to explore a topic we don't talk about nearly enough
  • Practical guidance on what to prepare and how
  • Plenty of time for your questions and an open conversation about what matters to you
  • Tea, good company, and a chance to share ideas with others
  • You'll leave with your own personalised 'For When I'm Gone' booklet — something all involved will be endlessly grateful for

This isn't about dwelling on death — it's about living better, knowing you've taken care of what matters.
