9th Annual Gravel Bottom Paddlefest

Join us for the 9th Annual Gravel Bottom Paddlefest!

Spend a day paddling the Grand River, enjoying great craft beer, and supporting a great cause.

The paddle begins at Grand River Riverfront Park West Boat Launch in Lowell and ends at the Fulton Street DNR Boat Launch in Ada. The trip takes approximately 2–3 hours.

The team from Bill & Paul's Sporthaus will help launch and unload kayaks. After your paddle, a shuttle will take drivers back to Grand River Riverfront Park to pick up their vehicles and transport paddlers to Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery for the post-paddle celebration.

A portion of every ticket benefits LGROW (Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds), helping protect and preserve our local waterways.

Kayak Rentals

Need a kayak? Call Bill & Paul's Sporthaus at (616) 458-1684 to reserve yours. 
Rentals include kayak, paddle, life vest, delivery to the launch point and pick up after the event. 
Rentals are limited, so reserve yours early!
