Tuesday Talks

This month there will be two Tuesday Talks on very different subjects.

The first talk is on Tuesday May 12 at 7p.m. Jerry Nickelsburg of the Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society will speak on “Wild Mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest.” Jerry will help us recognize the different species of mushroom ranging from the edible to the highly toxic. He will also educate us about possible culinary uses, although a lot of caution is needed before venturing into this area.

The second talk is on Tuesday May 26 at 3 p.m. It will be a presentation by our 23^rd District State Representative, Greg Nance. Greg will report on the recent legislative session which includes enabling legislation for passenger-only ferries.
