Melbourne… something ICONIC is coming to the water for our first and only Great Gatsby Boat Party in Melbourne for 2027!

On Saturday 6 March, we’re taking over not one, but TWO of Melbourne’s most iconic boats at the same time; Victoria Star Cruises and Lady Cutler Melbourne Showboat.

Both boats will depart together for one huge night party, with up to 600 guests partying across the two boats on Port Phillip Bay.

Now in its 12th year, the Great Gatsby Boat Party continues to be Melbourne’s favourite themed boat party, loved by guests of all ages (18+). It's the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, hens night, team party or just a great excuse to dress up for a fun night with friends or that special someone. This is the night out you’ve been waiting for in 2027!

This is SESSION 2, our after dark party beginning at 8.30PM and returning to Docklands at 11.30PM. After the sun sets this is the party that will come a live!

At checkout, simply choose which boat you and your friends want to party aboard.

Whichever you choose, both boats will be out on the water together and feature the Great Gatsby Boat Party atmosphere we’re known for with DJs, live saxophone, Gatsby performers, cocktails, dancing and a modern take on the roaring 20s.

GATSBY SHOWGIRLS

From glamorous showgirls to burlesque-inspired performers, some of Australia’s best Gatsby entertainers will roam the boats throughout the party, bringing a little 1920s mischief to the night.

DANCE UPSTAIRS. RELAX DOWNSTAIRS.

Head upstairs when you’re ready to dance, or take things a little easier downstairs with drinks, friends and our relaxed Gatsby casino-lounge-inspired atmosphere.

FOOD & FEASTING, GATSBY STYLE

This isn’t your typical sit-down dinner cruise.

Instead, both boats will have sociable, snack-style food options available to purchase, perfect for enjoying between drinks, dancing and exploring the boat.

IMPORTANT: SESSION 2 ONLY

Your ticket gives you entry to the 8.30PM–11.30PM After Dark Party only.

It does not include entry to SESSION 1, which begins from 4PM and is sold separately.

If you want the earlier, afternoon, sunset Gatsby experience, make sure you purchase a SESSION 1: AFTERNOON + SUNSET ticket instead.

BONUS SESSION 2 AFTER PARTY

When Session 2 returns to Docklands at 11.30PM, the fun doesn’t have to stop.

Session 2 guests are invited to continue the party at our official Melbourne CBD after party from 11.30PM until late.

HOW SESSION 2 WORKS

1. Choose Your Boat
Select either Lady Cutler Melbourne Showboat or Victoria Star Cruises when booking.

2. Both Boats Party Together
Both boats depart at the same time, creating one huge Gatsby party across the water with up to 600 guests.

3. Your Ticket Is Boat-Specific
Once you choose your boat, your ticket is locked to that boat for Session 2.

4. Session 2 Returns at 11.30PM
Both boats return to Docklands before our separate Session 1: Afternoon + Sunset Party begins earlier that afternoon.

5. Session 1 Requires Another Ticket
Session 2 tickets cannot be transferred or changed to the 4PM Afternoon + Sunset party.

Please choose carefully when booking, as we cannot swap guests between boats or move Session 2 tickets into Session 1.

SESSION 1: AFTERNOON + SUNSET PARTY begins separately from 4PM and requires a separate ticket.

Please have your ticket ready to show on your phone when you arrive.

DRESS CODE

Smart Dress/ Formal/ Modern 1920s/ Gatsby Inspired. You don’t need to look like you’ve walked off a movie set but this is definitely an occasion to dress up, have some fun and embrace the Gatsby theme.
