2026 Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo

The Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo is the largest fly fishing event in the Midwest. With vendors from the region and across the country including fly shops, guides, top brands, outfitters and non-profits, we offer the newest and best in the world of fly fishing. We also place a strong emphasis on fly fishing education and there will be free programs and seminars, casting demonstrations, fly tying and more taking place over the three days of the event.  Proceeds benefit the non-profit Minnesota Trout Unlimited.

Nearly 50 separate programs over three days feature expert speakers from around the world from Alaska to Argentina, plus local gurus to get you on the fish across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Don't miss great youth programming with FREE entrance for kids age 12 and under!  Sat morning youth prizes and giveaways, plus ongoing free casting instruction, fly tying, live stream life and more!

2026 Friday Night Social

Attend the Friday Fly Fishing Social, Hosted by MN Trout Unlimited and Fly Fishing Women of Minnesota. Featuring raffles and a cash bar.  Located in the Klas Center, adjacent to the Expo space! Hosted by MN Trout Unlimited and Fly Fishing Women of Minnesota, this event promises a fantastic evening filled with fun and camaraderie. Enjoy thrilling raffles, door prizes, games and a lively cash bar.

🕔 Doors open at 6:45 PM at the Klas Center, right next to the Expo space. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to connect with fellow fly fishing enthusiasts!

Saturday, March 14th: Expo Hours 9:00am-6:00pm

Sunday, March 15th 10:00am-4:00pm
