End of Year Party 2022 - Reading

Η Ελληνική Κοινότητα του Reading και η Εκκλησία του Προφήτη Ηλία, μετά την επιτυχημένη σειρά εκδηλώσεων τις χρονιές 2021 και 2022, και στην προσπάθεια της να συγκεντρώσει και πάλι τους Έλληνες του Reading και των γύρω περιοχών με σκοπό την δημιουργία μιας πιο συσπειρωμένης Ελληνικής κοινότητας, σας προσκαλεί στο Χριστουγεννιάτικο πάρτυ που διοργανώνει την Παρασκευή 30 Δεκεμβρίου στις 7:00μμ στο The Chequers Hotel στο Newbury (6-8 Oxford Street, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 1JB).

Θα υπάρχει μενού δύο (2) και τριών (3) πιάτων και ειδικό μενού για παιδιά. Στο μενού 2 πιάτων μπορείτε να επιλέξετε μεταξύ Starter και Main ή Main και Dessert.

Η τελευταία ημέρα αγοράς εισιτηρίων είναι 13 Δεκεμβρίου. Μετά από εκεί δε θα υπάρχει δυνατότητα αγοράς.

Κατα την αγορά των εισιτηρίων σας, είναι υποχρεωτικό να επιλέξετε τα πιάτα που επιθυμείτε. 

Το μενού για τους ενήλικες περιλαμβάνει τις παρακάτω επιλογές:

STARTERS

- Cauliflower & chestnut soup (v)

- Pork and pistachio terrine with apricot chutney

- Wild mushroom tartlets with dressed baby salad (v)

- Smoked salmon & dill mousse with pickled cucumber

MAIN COURSES

- Roast turkey, pigs in blankets, sage & onion stuffing and gravy

- Honey glazed smoked ham hock

- Beetroot & goat's cheese risotto (v) (Served with garlic and thyme roast potatoes and winter vegetables)

- Fillet of salmon with garlic and herb potato cake, watercress sauce

DESSERTS

- Christmas pudding, brandy sauce

- White chocolate and raspberry cheesecake

- Lemon and ginger posset

- Cheese and biscuits, grapes, celery, chutney

Fresh coffee/ tea & mince pies

Το μενού για τα παιδιά (4-12 ετών) περιλαμβάνει τις παρακάτω επιλογές:

STARTERS

- Carrot and cucumber sticks, hummus

- Garlic bread

MAIN COURSES

- Beef lasagne, salad

- Fish fingers, chips and peas

DESSERTS

- Ice cream

- Chocolate brownie

- Fresh fruit

Ενήλικες - 3 πιάτα: £27.45

Παιδιά - Κυρίως πιάτο: £7.45

Παιδιά - 2 πιάτα: £10.45

Παιδιά - 3 πιάτα: £12.45

Παιδιά <4: ΔΩΡΕΑΝ (Δε συμπεριλαμβάνεται φαγητό)

Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης, θα υπάρχει λαχειοφόρος αγορά με πλούσια δώρα.

Τα έσοδα θα συμβάλουν στην προσπάθεια της Εκκλησίας μας να αποκτήσει δικό της κτίριο και σχολείο. Είναι μια προσπάθεια της νέας επιτροπής, που βασίζεται κατά πολύ στην διάθεση και τον εθελοντισμό όλων μας. 

Ελπίζουμε και ευχόμαστε να πετύχει πάντα με την στήριξη και την βοήθεια σας. Η επιτυχία αυτής της διοργάνωσης θα οδηγήσει σε περισσότερες εκδηλώσεις που θα μας φέρουν πιο κοντά σε ήθη και έθιμα της πατρίδας μας.

End of Year Party 2022 - Reading

The Greek Community of Reading and the Greek Orthodox Church of Prophet Elias, Reading, after a successful series of events in the years 2021 and 2022, and as part of our continuous effort to bring the Greeks or Reading together and strengthen our community, is inviting you to our Annual Christmas Party on Friday, 30th of December at 19:00 in The Chequers Hotel, Newbury (6-8 Oxford Street, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 1JB).

2 and 3-course menus are available as well as special kids menus. For the 2-course menu, you have the choice between Starter and Main or Main and Dessert.

Tickets will be available for purchase until December, 13th. Buying tickets passed this date will not be possible.

It is important to select your menu of choice while booking your tickets.

The adult menu offers the choices below:
