Music Under the Stars - with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra String Quartet

Celebrate summer with Music Under the Stars: July 2026! Settle into the Arts Center gardens for an evening of live music by a string quartet from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. This high energy program will feature works inspired by the American experience and influenced by jazz and folk traditions. Featured composers included Aaron Copland, Antonin Dvorak, Florence Price and George Gershwin. Surrounded by the beauty of the gardens, this open-air concert offers a relaxed and memorable night of music, community, and summer ambiance.

Onsite seating is limited, so guests are encouraged to bring personal lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the concert comfortably. A cash bar and concessions will be available on-site—please note that no outside alcohol is permitted.

The Arts Center gates will open at 6:00 PM, providing plenty of time to explore the grounds and settle in before the music begins at 7:00 PM. The performance will last approximately one hour.

• Tickets are $15 per person
• Children 5 and under are free

Tickets must be purchased online; due to limited capacity, walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Please note that all sales are final — no refunds or exchanges.

Weather Policy

In the case of rain or severe weather, the event will be held in the Grant Tent when possible. If weather conditions are unsafe or too extreme, the event may be canceled or rescheduled. Guests who opt in to receive SMS updates at checkout will be notified of any weather-related changes by text.
