Children's Celebration Concert - Morning Performance

Bring the family and experience a morning of music and performing arts at Greenacres! Tailored for children, this early concert is a great introduction to the joy and wonder of Cincinnati’s Ballet, Opera, and Pops Orchestra in a joint performance. The magnificent John Morris Russell returns once again to guide the audience through a child-friendly version of the night time performance, keeping things light, fun, and educational.

A Reason to Celebrate

What started as a 100th birthday celebration for one of our beloved founders, Mrs. Louise Dieterle Nippert, continues on as a celebration of her memory and legacy. This year's theme “Great Things in Small Packages” will feature an assortment of song and dance and is sure to delight audiences of all ages. The performance will take place in the Grand Tent at the Greenacres Arts Center and will last for approximately 45 minutes. Gates open at 9:45am and the concert will begin at 10:30am.

Tickets

Tickets are $25 per family and MUST include one adult in attendance. Due to the need to socially distance attendees, tickets and seats are extremely limited. Seating priority will be determined based on the order in which tickets are purchased, so it is encouraged to buy your tickets as soon as possible. The content of this show will be tailored to children age 5 – 13, but all are welcome. Gates open at 9:45am with the performance starting at 10:30am.

Rules

Food and drink will not be available for purchase during this event. Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. Tickets must be purchased online and due to limited capacity walk-ins will not be accepted. Refunds and exchanges will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and ticket transfers are restricted based on our requirements to be able to provide accurate contact tracing information.  

COVID-19 Guidelines

In order to comply with State of Ohio's protocols as it pertains to the COVID-19 virus please see the following guidelines:

• All guests are required to self-monitor their and their child’ temperature prior to entering the GAF venue. Anyone with a temperature above 100 degrees F cannot enter Greenacres property.
• Anyone who exhibits COVID-19 symptoms or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last two weeks cannot enter Greenacres property.
• Guests will follow current social distancing guidelines.
• Guests are asked to wash hands often and adhere to sanitization practices while on Greenacres property.
• Guests are encouraged to wear face masks and must adhere to the State of Ohio’s guidelines on who must wear one. Masks are required inside the Arts Center at all times.
