About Greenacres Lewis Township

Greenacres purchased this former tobacco and soybean farm in Brown County in 2018 and has been working to restore native pastures using generative farming techniques, while establishing an education center for local school children. Partnering with the University of Tennessee Center for Native Grassland Management, our research team has conducted trials on establishing native warm season grasses throughout the property and are looking forward to sharing their discoveries with the public.
