The Equality Act is a key piece of legislation which impacts on ASB case work. Where the duties within it are not complied with, it can cause long delays to legal cases, prolonged harm to victims and high costs. This course aims to demystify the Act, peeling away the legal jargon and leaving the learner with practical steps they can take in their casework and the skills to complete a thorough and effective equality act assessment.
