The Green Communities Project are hoping to re-plant the Clock Tower garden in Spring 2026. Between now and then, we are holding a series of workshops to get your input and help us with the project. We will be focusing the redesign on native species
The first session will be on Monday 13th October. We will talking about the aims of the project, looking at what is already growing with a bit of plant identification, followed by an introduction to permaculture and brainstorming everything we need to know to do it properly!
There will be an option to do a bit of weeding of the drainage channels around the Clock Tower too if you would like to help in a more practical way!
Each workshop will build on the last one, so we are looking for the same people to come along to each workshop. There will be a mixture of week day and weekend sessions, and online forms to capture as many voices as possible.
The workshops will be very relaxed and mainly brainstorming, planning and designing, you don't have to stay for the whole session, or have any experience! Everyone is welcome, bring your kids, partners, friends and families.
