Central Park Butterfly Walks - 3 dates!
Join the Green Communities team in Central Park to take part in a butterfly walk!
Tuesday 9th June 1:30-3:00pm
Monday 27th July 12:30-2pm
Monday 10th August 12- 2:30pm
We will be meeting at the Clock Tower, which is located next to the Meadow Cafe, here: Google Maps Location Pin. Please book onto the session you would like to attend, as spaces are limited.
We will be following a set walk while spotting and identifying all the butterflies we see along the way. There will be an opportunity to use butterfly nets and bug pots to see the butterflies up close.
No experience is needed to attend, we just need good, sunny weather with little wind (difficult in Plymouth, I know!) If the weather conditions aren't right for finding butterflies, you will be informed of cancellations.
Kids, families and pets are more than welcome at our events, however, we ask that anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and all dogs must be kept on leads.
Cancellation
In the event of a severe weather warning, or it is too windy for the butterflies to be out, this event may not go ahead. We will email you at the earliest convenience if the event is cancelled. Please keep an eye on your emails the day before and morning of the event.
Please let us know if you have booked a space but can no longer attend the session so we can fill your space.
Accessibility
We will be walking off of the main paths to wonder into the fields with uneven ground and long grass. If you have limited mobility, are a wheelchair user or have a young child in a pram, please feel free to contact us and we can let you know of any accessibility concerns.
