Greener Henley presents: Greening Your Business
Greener Henley presents: Greening Your Business
Need help?
Local business owners can get involved in the interactive Greening Your Business workshop at the River & Rowing Museum. During the session you can learn how to reduce your carbon footprint and accelerate the rapid economic transition needed to secure a liveable planet. Learn from others’ progress and work together to plan how you can make a difference and bring more customers with you.
Speaking about their own journeys to “green their business” will be:
- Peter Hopkins – Managing Partner at Mercers Solicitors
- Lottie Pheasant – Theatre Manager at The Kenton Theatre & Rachael O’Sullivan Environmental Manager at The Royal Opera House and sustainability adviser to the Kenton
- Katrina Judge – Biodiversity officer at Henley Town Council and Founder of Young Climate Warriors
This will be the fourth annual event which brings together local businesses during Great Big Green Week to explore what businesses are doing to reduce carbon footprint and their impact on the planet. The response each year has been very positive with over 40 participants each time, and some powerful initiatives happening as a direct result. This year, we will build on the best of the past events, with speakers setting the scene for us and then move into a workshop format. The aim is to enable participants to deepen their understanding of the options available to them and to strengthen the network of like minded businesses.
