E-bike subscription launch & demo

Try out Lang Toun Cycles' latest e-bikes and find out about the e-bike subscription scheme at this launch and demo day. 

You will take an e-bike on a short ride while learning about the benefits of electronically assisted bikes for local travel, shopping and exploring locally. You pedal and the e-bike will add power, enabling you to go further, quicker, more consistent journey times and make hills easy!

We will be bringing examples of all the e-bikes available to borrow through our short-term bike library and our longer-term subscription scheme. These include town e-bikes, commuter e-bikes, folding e-bikes and hardtail mountain e-bikes

There will be 2 sessions of 2 hours each, please book whichever session suits you best.

Session 1: 10am - 12noon

Sessions 2: 1pm – 3pm

Supported and led by experienced ride leaders, there will be loads of time to chat about all things e-bike, swap bikes around to see what works for you and ride a variety of routes in and around Beveridge Park. All routes will be traffic-free.

Please come along 15 minutes before your ride to sign in, meet up and get kitted out. Helmets will be supplied for those who wish to borrow one.

Booking Instructions

The event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.

Additional Information 

Participants should be able to cycle for 1-1.5 hours at a leisurely pace in a park, with other park users. This will be free from motor traffic.

Participants must be at least 16 years old.

Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather on the day. Shoes must be secure and cover the whole of each foot (no open-toe sandals or flip-flops).

Accessibility 

You must be able to ride a bike to attend this event. Unfortunately, no adaptive bikes will be available at this session.

You do not have to own a bike to take part in this event.
